Waiting for the construction
crew to get back from fishing trip.....
When you first return to the ramp and retrieve your vessel there are a few things you should note:
 | Before bringing the trailer to the waters edge, first check that no one has fiddled with your trailer coupling. eg undone safety chain or taken D-shackle, winch handle or unlocked the tow-bar from the coupling. | ||||||||||
| When you first put vessel on trailer, secure the winch cable AND safety chain before proceeding up ramp. | ||||||||||
| When you remove the bungs, watch to see how much water comes out. If any or more than usual, get the hull checked for any damage or hairline cracks in welds or seams and check the bungs have not lost their washers or have worn thread. | ||||||||||
| Secure all gear on-board and tie down boat to trailer before leaving the ramp. | ||||||||||
