PWC Licences

You are now required to have a licence to legally operate a PWC (Personal Watercraft or Jetski).

You must have a Recreational Marine Drivers Licence (Boat Licence) before a PWC licence will be issued.

PWC licence courses are conducted as a stand-alone course or in conjunction with your boat licence course.

YOU WILL NEED:

To wear wetsuit pants (mandatory for females) for PWC on-water training, shoes, have sun protection and dress for the weather ready to get wet.

COST

Cost of the PWC (Jet Ski) course is $250

Cost of the boat licence course is $150 to $180 depending on where you are.

Cost of doing both courses together is $350 (a $50 to $80 discount).

These are basic costs and may vary slightly from place to place.

In most areas we will be supplying the PWC and PFD (Personal Floatation Device type 2 - buoyancy vest).  Please bring your own buoyancy vest if you are not average adult size.

Where it is difficult for us to supply the PWC (we can only trailer one boat or PWC at a time out to remote areas until our tandem trailers are constructed), you will be able to use your own or someone elses PWC for your on-water training in regional areas.

Your PWC MUST be registered, seaworthy, insured and have appropriate safety equipment for the area of operation.

WHERE ARE COURSES HELD?
